Hi Everybody! [Jun. 24th, 2008|11:28 pm]
Graduate Students at Florida State University

I'll be attending FSU in the fall working on my MA in Russian and Eastern European Studies. I'm excited but this will definitely be a new experience for me. I've never been to Florida before. I just have a few general questions about the campus and Tallahassee. How hard are the campus and the city to navigate as a pedestrian? How is the bus system? Do you think it's hard to meet people? Anyone know anything about Christian ministries on campus? As a newbie is there anything I just have to know? Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks.

Ryan, do you have an assistantship of any kind? Will you be working for the university? If so, a great way to meet people, do some fun stuff on campus, and effect positive change, is to become active in the graduate student union that is currently forming at FSU. If you have an interest in this, please email me at jmleto@gmail.com.
